Export orders via Shopify store to store

Important Notes

  • The sub store (source store) is responsible for creating the order export feed and exporting orders to the main store.
  • The sub store must have an active paid plan for order exports to work. The main store only needs the app installed to generate the pairing code and does not require a paid plan.
  • To automatically export newly paid orders, configure an automation trigger using When Order Paid.

  1. In the sub store, open the syncX: Order Export Shopify App, and create a new Order Export.

  1. Navigate to the Export tab and select Shopify Store to Store.

  1. Rename the export feed by clicking the pencil icon and entering your preferred name.

  1. Click Edit Settings to configure your export preferences. You can optionally apply filters to control which orders are exported.

For example, you may export only orders containing products with a specific product tag such as Shoes.

  1. After reviewing and saving your settings, return to the Export Details page and click Edit under the Destination section.

  1. Enter the required Pairing Code. Since this is a store-to-store connection, the pairing code must be generated from the destination (main) store.

  1. To generate a pairing code:

  • Install syncX: Order Export on the destination store.
  • Go to the Account page.
  • Generate a new pairing code.
  • Copy the code and paste it into the source store's destination settings.

  1. After entering the pairing code, click Link to establish the connection and select the order naming format.

  1. Click Save to start exporting orders.

  1. To automate the export process, go to Automation and create a schedule using the When Order Paid trigger. This ensures new paid orders are automatically exported to the main store.
